Castle Park
A military map covering the period between 1763 and 1787 shows some scattered trees in the vicinity of the castle. The park design is shown on the land map from 1801.
The castle is surrounded by a park which is one of the most beautiful landscape parks in the region. Some 140 different tree species grow there, among which mighty oaks and ash trees as well as some exotic trees. The way leading to the family vault of the last castle owners, passes along the tulip tree, mighty ash trees, poplars, oaks and the remains of a lime alley.
