Medieval and Modern –age Lapidary Collection
In the western and southern tract of the former Dominican cloister are exhibited the monastery stone monuments from the middle and new age.

The medieval and modern –age stone monuments are exhibited in the west and south wings of the cloister in the former Dominican monastery, whereas architectural elements from the Gothic period, tombstones, Renaissance decorated corbels, coats of arms, and other stone reliefs can be seen in the west wing. Baroque sculptures from the façade of the Loretto Chapel and the entrance to the Minorite monastery, form a special group in the south wing of the monastery. The angels bearing heraldic signs once stood by the portal at the northern access to the Ptuj castle.
